Donate New Children's Books

The Roads to Reading Initiative always is in need of children’s books. Children’s books are the heart and soul of our organization. We donate over 100,000 books per year. Most of the books are donated through our publishing partners. Some books we purchase through remainder dealers. Without the help and support of the donations from publishing companies and self-publishing authors we would not have had the ability to support and donate books to the hundreds of thousands of children that do not have the wonderful world of books as part of their lives. The Roads to Reading Initiative will also accept donations of new books from remainder dealers, self publishing authors and publishing houses. Each book that is donated to our organization is a monetary saving to our organizations.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the following organizations for past and current book donations to the Roads to Reading Initiative.

  • Scholastic
  • Scholastic Book Fair
  • Random House
  • The Mattel Foundation (American Girl Publishing)
  • Harper Collins
  • Penguin Books for Young Readers
